Who took these pictures? Carrera-hired professionals? They're really nice.

The latest results I was able to get, overall results to the third day of competition. This relates to overall results from Sunday night:

Robert Gelt / Bob Paltrow 2nd in class Sport Menor
Stanley Bauer / Doug Weitman 2nd in class Historic A
Uwe Heusel / Volker Hauser 6th in class Historic A+
Martin Lauber / Conrad Stevenson 8th in class Historic A+
Juan Luis Calderon / Alejandro Gomez 5th in class Sport Menor

They had some issues with timing and scoring, but aparently its all back to normal. Hoping to get updated results from yestarday this morning.

Boy, I wish I was there!

Some good news, I think.

I friend called me from Zacatecas, tomorrow is the last day. He says: What is a TI? There is one in the race and it's FAST!!!!! Yeah, that is Martin and Conrad, they are as they post in their page in between Studebakers and BIG cars! They have a great car and are driving a great race.

Another team who is claimed to be fast is the GTV driven by Stanley and Doug.

The Spider was doing good, but got lost and got -1 hour.........

Check this video out, you can see all the big cars and then the TI!!!

Overall results up to day 6 (out of 7), now they have a very long day with the big straights, hopefully they hang in there!

Ti's and Supers make great Panamericana cars, especially when fitted with a 2 liter. The intermediate wheelbase together with great aerodynamics is ideal for the course.

The race has ended by now.

By the end of yesterday Martin Lauber & Conrad Stevenson were in 19th OA and 2nd in class, 3:58 minutes on overall time behind Bailey/Wilson in the Volvo 122S who are running 16th OA.

I wonder whether they were able to beat the Volvo which is much slower on the high speed stages than the Alfa.

I guess we'll know soon enough.

Does the "Taxi" sign help with the downforce, or did they us it to pick up a few fares?

You'll need to check with the owners on that
