weight of GTV vs Datsun 1600

I race a 1972 GT junior, its substantially modified but more or less standard in layout, ie all steel and glass, headling, full seats etc it has minor weight saving but also full cage etc , so its weight is probably close to standard, I am racing against similarly prepared Datsun 1600's ( 510 in USA ) would anyone know what the weight comparison would be?
Ciao
Hans

The Series 3 Junior owner's manual (supplement to the Series 2 owner's manual) does not list the vehicle weight. However, the Series 2 curb weight with a full tank is listed as 990kg (2182lbs).
Sorry, can't help with the Datsun's weight.

Homoligation weight for a 510 is 1750 pounds for a 1.6 and 1980 pounds for a 1.8. A dead stock street 510/1600 has a lsited weight of 2490 pounds.

yep, not that there is very much of that, and a standard passanger's seat, which seems to be pretty uncommon (notwithstanding what the rule book says).
