Information on the Autodelta Sprints

Who can give me some information about the Autodelta Sprints? What was different (accept from the body and interior which is obvious) to a standard Sprint?

I assume you are talking about the cars prepared for the Alfasud Sprint Cup (trofeo Europa). They were set up with high compression pistons for a maximum power output of about 145hp. They sported a special body kit with flares and much wider wheels and a whole host of other Autodelta goodies - one that stick in my mind is a set of curved air horns (I used to have a set) that were very similar to the GTA type.

Autodelta also built a few 6C Alfasud Sprints with a midmounted GTV 6 engine with the intention of using them in world rallying but that project never came to fruition.

Yes, I mean the Sprints for the Sprint cup. Thanks for your answer.

I'm asking this because I'm thinking about preparing my Sprint Veloce for racing.

Thank you for the thread. It has a nice scan of article about the car. unfortunately I don't speak Italian so canot read the article itself. So just looking at the pictures for me. The picture of the kit (not installed on a car but lying on the ground) is great!
