Wow, word spreads quick! The car is getting a cage right now. I'll post pictures next time I see the car. You gonna be there at the race?

Wow! That sounds like too much fun!!!
And I'll leak a little bit too... '86 GTV6 for Targa New Foundland, and this car involves JJ...
Next year is going to be FUN!
But until our website is up for this car... I'll remain silent...

We aren't doing it this year. The car is now mostly finished. We will be sorting it at AROSC and vintage race events until the 2006 event. The car just needs all the Pan America livery put on it and some finishing touches. If you are going to AROSC @ Willow Springs this weekend, you're in for a real surprise! It's really fast, too fast for a 1900

I assume you are taliking about Dirk's car with the 2300 motor...
Bo Monroe has one of the 1900TIs that actually ran in the 1954 race, which is in the process of restoration...

Yeah, that's it.
I just saw Bo's thread. That is a wonderful car and can't wait to see it done.

If you know of anyone interested in another one that ran in 1954 and then in 1989 I have it in Mexico........
It has a Scuderia del Portello engine, it is a good and fast car restored to the racing type of 1954, so it does not look AMAZINGLY prepared but it does have good stuff, but wat is really worth is the History.

Quite the carnage this year. As this seems to be turning into a general Panamericana thread, here's some pictures from last year.
