Under what rules? I'm talking about the Swedish Historic Racing rules, maybe I should have clarified that.
But as I understood it it's the calipers that are the biggest problem? I'll ask him when I see him.

I assume that they race under FIA App K ind Sweden as well as in Denmark. Under those rules (pre -65) you arent allowed to change the basic structure of the braking system. That means no vented discs, no larger calipers. However, you can change the material of the brakepads - that is why I recommended kevlar pads. He is also allowed to use brake fluid that is more heatresistant - and I would think that should do it. I dont get why he needs to bleed the braking system, if it otherwise is in OK working order. But that may just be me....

Don't assume anything when it comes to racing rules in Sweden. SBF (Swedens rules comitee, or whatever it translates to) seen to be on drugs sometimes, for instance in the last race in the technical inspection they complained about the way the safety harness was mounted and I had to make a calculation in front of them to prove that it didn't matter...
Of course FIA doesn't have a rule about that. We also have a completely different rule about helmets.
