LOL!!!! In Regards to Webber being a "Dangerous Hack"... i didn't say we was not quick. He is just getting carried. I think there is a big difference between making your car wide and swerving violently when some onw is coming up along side you.

If you're not in Q3 (top ten), you're free to add fuel, which most cars do, to give themselves the option of fewer stops or at least a longer first stint. I don't know this new track well enough to know how many stops might be planned by the front runners. It's a safe bet, though, that at least some of the heavy cars are looking to do a one-stop race.
But the stops aren't always just a matter of fuel. You've got to do at least one stint on each tire compound. And if one compound is much worse, as at Interlagos, it may make sense to do two stops in order to do a short stint on the lousy compound. At Interlagos, Hamilton started on the less desirable compound, and took advantage of the early safety car to do a very early stop and get rid of them; it really helped his race strategy.
No more fuel stop strategy next year, though.

Maybe dangerous, but clearly not a hack. Anyway, he's not the worst offender I've ever seen--certainly no worse than Schumacher's start line maneuvers...

Didn't catch the race, who was at fault for the Rubens/Webber tangle?

Hard to say...since it was during the start I'd think you'd have to classify it as a "racing incident".

Once again, a pretty entertaining race. The last few laps w/Button trying to take 2nd. from Webber was some good racing! Went right to the wire.
Could be some real competitive racing in 2010.
An amazing course at Abu Dhabi! A few too many turns, but a spectacular venue all the same!
Regards

The drama of Hamilton's brake problem taking him out and the good dice for 2nd there at the end saved them from another turkey. I'm going to say meh on the track. It's just me, I know, but it is so overcooked it looked to me like I was watching someone play racing on a video game.

Toyota is out of F1, Effective Immdeiately.
With the rotten economy, the fact that Toyota is struggling more than people think, this isn't much of a surprise. At least to me.

A friend sent me this link to some footage of Schumacher testing a 2006 car at Fiorano in preparation for a resumption of duties in the wake of Massa's accident, which of course never happened.

Hmm ... that didn't work. Try this link here instead.

Hooray, the season is over, and yes Webber is up there finally amongst the top for the year !!! As an Aussie, you have to accept we are keen to see him up the top for a change, for he certainly has had his fair share of rubbish luck and drives. Its been a long time between drinks. The last Aussie to do as well was of course our Alan Jones (ex world champ) and before that the living legend Sir Jack Brabbham.
I tell you what though, what a strange year, where was Ferrari all year, did they take the year off or something ??

Don't worry about Ferrari, something tells me they will be back big time next year with Alonso leading the way.
I am really interested in where Kamui Kobayashi ends up.I was very impressed by him in the last couple of races.I love how aggressive he is.
I am also glad to see the US in F1 and very happy for Peter Windsor.
Looking forward to see how the cars will look with the big tanks now.
Should be an interesting and fun season.

Evidently Ferrari are not too sure about their next season. They are offering Kimi more $$$ if he sits out the next season as opposed to racing against them. WHAT a BUNCH of COWARDS!!! Such an action are after Montmezolo, in all his arrogance makes statements disrespecting new smaller privateer teams, is completely classless. If i remember right, Ferrari got spanked by two of those teams this past season. Montemezolo needs to take a lesson from those teams ans shut up and let your performance on the track to the talking for you. But then again... if you cant build a car to do the talking for you... i gues your gums are all you have to flap.?.?

Ferrari is not offering, he had a contract. If he signs with someone else they are off the hook.It is in his hands make less and drive or make more and sit.
