Toyota locked-up the front row for the Bahrain GP! Wow! Trulli on pole & Glock next to him, Vettle's Red Bull, & Button 3 & 4.....Ferrari 'up-track'!

Stranger than fiction!

It's less strange if you look at the qualifying weights. Both Toyotas are running very light on fuel. Here's the grid, with weights in kilos (1 lap = +/- 2.6 kg of fuel)

1. Jarno Trulli, Toyota, 648.5 kg
2. Timo Glock, Toyota, 643
3. Sebastian Vettel, Red Bull, 659
4. Jenson Button, Brawn GP, 652.5
5. Lewis Hamilton, McLaren, 652.5
6. Rubens Barrichello, Brawn GP, 649
7. Fernando Alonso, Renault, 650.5
8. Felipe Massa, Ferrari, 664.5
9. Nico Rosberg, Williams, 670.5
10. Kimi Raikkonen, Ferrari, 671.5
11. Heikki Kovalainen, McLaren, 678.5
12. Kazuki Nakajima, Williams, 680.9
13. Robert Kubica, BMW Sauber, 698.6
14. Nick Heidfeld, BMW Sauber, 696.3
15. Nelson Piquet, Renault, 677.6
16. Sebastien Buemi, Toro Rosso, 678.5
17. Giancarlo Fisichella, Force India, 652
18. Mark Webber, Red Bull, 656
19. Adrian Sutil, Force India, 679
20. Sebastien Bourdais, Toro Rosso, 667.5

THose car Weights show how well Vettle is driving then or how well his car handles.?.? He wasn't exactly running light. But wow... Kimi actually drove a pretty good race considering the load he started with!

contact info for US Formula 1???

I know this is a shot in the dark, but I'm trying to make contact with the new
us f1 team (Peter Windsor/Ken Anderson) in Charlotte, NC. Their website has
a contact link which doesn't appear to work and efforts at coming up with a
phone # has met with no results. An e-mail address, phone #, or fax # would
be greatly appreciated.

It's time for Ferrari to step-up-on the podium! My 'tea leaves' see Massa & Barrichello taking 2 of the positions---don't have a clue about the 3rd. spot, or in what order.....

Regards.

I would like to see the team budgets this year and see who is spending and not proving. Slam, i like Ferrari, but you must admit, this is one of the most entertaining F1 seasons in a long time. For the past decade or so, you could always count on the Red Cars to have a podium finish, now, holy cow! you never know who is going to be on that podium! I cant wait for the Europe tour at all the great tracks!

To get some more action on here, Whats your favorite F1 Track? Of the present and of all time?

Mine would have to either be Silverstone or Monza its a tough call.

Phillip

I was about to say... velocealfa.... Jeeezzzz... the chat on this thread has really slowed this year compared to others now that Ferrari is inthe TANK. C'mon guys... there is some good racing going on and now we get to see the Other talented drivers out there that have not had a car to prove themselves... Like Massa has had to make him look much better than he really is!

Thats the truth right there! I really wish Sato still had a ride, i thought he was a great shoe, just never had a ride that could run with all the others.

LOL, if you have facebook, bob varsha is on there frequently, my brother is a friend with him and he loves to converse with everyone about f1. I think its a great way to get a younger generation interested in f1 again. I mean, nascar is nascar but f1 is the real thing. But, Talledega had an AMAZING finish on sunday, im glad those safety nets were there or there would have been a repeat of the 1955 Le Mans. Not good.

When does anyone think a new United States driver is going to make an appearance in F1? The last one was Speed right? There are a few nascar drivers that have the skills but good luck getting them away from there. I know Jimmie Johnson has what it takes, along with Carl Edwards, you know edwards beat Schumacher at the drivers cup last year in the same car on the same track. Now thats what im talking about!
