Who's going to win at San Marino F1?

I still like the Renault's. Nice to see Alex Wurtz in a f1 car again. Will the new Minardi out-Qualify the Jordans or even maybe a Sauber?

Imola? My $ is on Ferrari. They have let the others have a head start and now they will just take over as they have in the past.

bring back de la Rosa

Yes it is good to see Wurz back in F1 however, considering Bahrain, de la Rosa is ripe for the drive.

I look to Kimi for the win with Alonso in tow. I see Trulli ahead of MS at the checkered flag.

Rubens you are a great guy but hand over the keys!

Montoya stay off the motorcycles and get ready for Alonso in Spain.

F1 continues to improve

What a blow to Kimi and Mercedes to have an engine let go so early. Alonso's engine now has two consecutive wins and that is a tribute to Renault. Clearly MS was not going to be held up by Trulli and Ferrari is back on the podium.

Spain could be something of a "Perfect Storm" with Alonso, Kimi, and MS all able to run with each other. Throw in the Latin mix of Montoya hot to return to his competitive car and let the fireworks begin.

Well Schumy was 0.2 seconds behind Alonso at the finish after a great come back; it's going to be a fun season.

To my humble opinion Michael Schumacher drove one of his 3 greatest races of his career.

Great race. Ferrari worked hard for 20 days on getting shui's car right. Looks like they spent a whole day working on Rubens. I still think the Renault's have the edge. Would really like to see kimi get a reliable car for a few races in a row at least. I think you may see Kimi going somewhere else soon if this reliability issue continues.

I agree that they will take this year with no problem and maybe next.
Now that GM is out of the way there is a rumor that in the near future 'Ferrari' might even leave F1 for other racing venues and turn the red cars into blue cars i.e.: Maseratis...and then just go on winning. Just think of the PR and even they must be getting a little bored.
Whatever happens this will be a fun year.

I really do not understand F1. Why does for example Mercedes Benz want to continue their F1 program? It is damaging MB’s image if the engines blow up of such a reputed concern and they are being beaten by Ferrari. Even if they do start winning where is the glory??
You have been made to look like a fool for the last couple of years.
Kimi could have won in 2003 but again an engine trouble. The press and spectators seem to enjoy themselves witnessing the failure and defeat of a competitive party.
F1 really has changed from recreational fun of just watching GP cars compete to viewers
who have a affective relationship with team/driver and into a business.
If I were MB director I do not want to place my company in a position when not reaching
a podium place my company would get murdered by journalists.
This is no fun anymore. When Ferrari isn’t up to par with the rest in the first couple of races they have to suffer critic reviews. Why???
F1 for me seems to be an insane place for a constructor to be. It costs too much money too.
Like to see more sportmanship and far less press interest.

That is why Ford pulled the plug on Jaguar - the Board of Directors put egos aside and looked at the bottom line and decided there was no benefit to getting humiliated every two weeks and that was that. BMW's board has been questioning its F1 program with Williams, and if BMW bails look for a Sauber partnership to go to full BMW control in short order. MB obviously thinks it can still win and it is worth it to stay the course, and Renault's early success this year shows that any team can win.

I thought Schumi did an amazing job Sunday and if he had started from anywhere else in the field he would have won easily. It is clear that if Ferrari can keep the car in one piece it will be tough to beat. Kudos to Ferrari and Bridgestone for getting the package right - how about those tires that are designed to run better as the race progresses? Renault should be concerned.

I see Giancarlo is now the "Rubens" of the Renault team - clearly his win in the season opener was a "mistake" and Flavio is making sure he gets the developmental parts. Bad luck - he is a talented driver and unlike Rubens, who knew what he was getting in to, he probably thought he would be given an equal chance at Renault.

The chassis is McLaren. The engine are badged as Mercedes. They may be built by Illmor, I have no idea.
