75 Turbo Oil

I have to change the oil of my 75 Turbo.
Its the first time since I have the car.
What caracteristics should I use?
10W40?

Mobil 1 5W-50. Near 400.000 kms. in my Turbo America without problems.

Please not Mobil 1, I have had nothing but bad experiences with that oil and 75 turbos.
Selenia and Motul I can recommend but not Mobil1 or Shell Helix.

Because it's like water.

Pour in a good oil instead and even at idle you can hear and feel the difference.

Is it only for Turbos? I have M1 15w50....consumption is not good, compared to Castrol Synthetic 5w50. I'm going to switch to something else really soon.

For any piston engine I'd say.

Both my Integrale and the 75 T went almost completely silent (i.e. no valve clatter) and the idle was rock solid. Very weird. No leaks either (internal or external) after switching from Mobil 1.

The low (as in low-low-low) cost supermarket brand type oils here worked better in my old turbo-Saab then the Mobil 1.

And the Integrale has valve clatter, I know because I have one 16V.
Its normal on this engine...
At idle you can hear the valves/tappets/cams working.
