Milano Mystery - Shutting off over bumps

Check the grounds under the rear most screw on right (passenger) valve cover.
Mine were dirty and loose and caused the exact same symptom driving back from a long hot track day weekend. Was not fun.

With an electrical problem, all the previous items are likely, but don't forget your ignition switch. If you have a large bunch of keys, hitting bumps could start them swinging around and making/breaking the contacts. Try with the ignition key only on your next test drive.

Wouldnt things like gages go on and off if it was an ignition switch problem?
