Did anyone, Mats in particular, hear of a manual Spica rack in the 75?

Mats, what's the manual rack in the 1.8 75 Turbo? Tell me it is a Spica and that they are easy to find.

Jes

No clue, haven't even seen the rack in the 75 yet, too much junk in the way.
I'm changing it this winter though, I'll get back to you.

Update - located 2.2 lock-to-lock kit

I have located a 2.2 lock-to-lock solution that a fellow Danish Alfisti has recommended warmly - he is now on his 4th season without any wear or other issues.

Besides JJ's and my kit I plan to bring over a couple of extra kits if anyone is interested. I don't have a final cost yet as there are a couple of variables, e.g. shipping. Also note that there is some uncertainty as JJ and I have actually not yet mounted these kits in our cars.

It requires a specific manual Spica donor rack - the 75 (at least US) has a PS ZF rack.

For anyone interested we now have our Milano on the ground and steering effort with manual steering is only slightly higher then the GTV6 mostly due to the smaller steering wheel. It is a lot easier then many other manual steering cars I have owned. Cant wait to drive it, should be this weekend!

Wow, old thread - 3 years gone by... Nobody showed any interest so I only brought over the kits JJ and I wanted - 2 each. I still have my spare kit, but am saving it. Unfortunately, I have misplaced the contact info, but the guy who made/makes these was/is in Sweden. If I recall correctly his name is Jarmo. I suspect Mats knows of him. Mats?

What's the ratio on a stock Alfetta SPICA rack? How about on a manual GTV6 SPICA rack...?

Can you fit them in a Milano...?
