Sorry to take so long, I was hoping for hotter weather. The fan is supposed to turn on with
the compressor, but I'm using this experimental low pressure refrigerant & I'm not sure if
it's working properly, or the switch may just be defective. At this point I can sit idling all
day long, w/ the A/C on max & the temp doesn't break 185F, in fact the fan usually cycles for 30 seconds every two minutes or so. I have the feeling that the radiator is a bit too efficient , but then again I have a completely stock 2.5. As I said, waiting for the global warming to kick in to really put this project to bed.
Regards,
John

Hi All,
For anyone who is still interested, this should be the final post. It finally got to over 90F
in Jersey, actually 98F, the particulars are still the same, A/C full blast, radiator fan doesn't run with compressor, same thermostatic fan switch. All temps approx from dash gauge.
60 MPH moderate traffic 175F
40 MPH " " 175F-180F
Stop and go in town 185F
The only difference between now & earlier posts is fan runs longer, almost continuously
in stop & go. I'd say it's a definite success, especially considering the low cost.

Regards,
John
