(What, no pic of the Alfa tool? )

Good luck coppcarz!
I guess I could have gotten one out of one of my 164 tool kits or Milano one but most people don't have those tool kits in their cars do they?

I dunno, depends on how meticulous the PO was. I had one with each Milano I owned, but my GTV6 only came with the lug wrench. So, I have to do the plugs as you depicted. BTW - That was A1 advice.

OK, got the Alfa Spark Plug tool out of the box, yes, luckily the littel tool case came with the car.......seems the plus was probably loose, puled it out, plug looks horrible, I believe it is the original plus (Golden Lodge brand, seriously doubt the previous onwer ever tuned up this car, 9bought it with less than 50,000 miles, figured it was used a lot).

The knocking is gone after i tightened the plug back up, and it scared the crap out of me, after i tightened it by hand, used the other part of the Alfa tool for leverage and figured I went too far......seems I didn't strip it, but it seems the boot still has some play, figure time for plugs and boots/wires.

Any brand recommendations???? What does a full tune up on this car consist of???

88 Verde.

Thanks
