Mats - how much do you reckon a chassis like that weighs?

I don't know but I'm trying to figure out an intelligent way to find out...
Probably will make some sort of frame to put it on so I can roll it around the garage without any suspension parts on the car. Maybe roll it down the road and weigh it on the scale for trucks? Probably will buy bathroom scales though.

The wrecking yards I've gone to sometimes have box frames made out of square steel tubing (e.g. those that are used to construct heavy-duty scaffolding). At the bottom of the box frame, put some 1000lb castor wheels and now you have a rolling box frame you can put the car on.
It'll be easy to roll the car down to the truck weigh station with one of those, e.g. on a Sunday afternoon when no one's looking

The scale is on 24/7 so no problems, but it's a little coarse, 20Kg intervals.
My guess is that the body weighs maybe 250-300Kg so four bathroom scales is more then sufficient, and pretty accurate.
Need to buy a set of wheels first to be able to start the suspension design. :/
Feels a bit weird but I need them.

genius: Thanks... I think?
75evo: no, no, I'm driving the 75 T now, it has been drievable the whole time just that the Delta was better on all points. :|
The GTV has a Blueprinted regular 2.0, coliovers, 900Kg. O.Z. Magnesium wheels.
One cool thing, It's road legal.

No really, just have to slap on the registration plates and drive it through the annual inspection and I'm legal...
Problem is that I have to use a jack to get it out of the garage, it's really low, now that I think of it, the inspection guys usually doesn't like the 75 because it's low and this one is indeed lower. Probably isn't too streetably in the city either. :|

Mats,
The car behind yours (the orange 75), what's the motor? It smoked a 3.0 in one of your videos.

Bone stock TS...
The 3.0 on the other hand had loads of technical difficulties at that time, much better now.
Did this winters monster job on the GTV today, I adjusted the steering column height...
Well, I guess I have to change the seat too, oh how I just love the ready-built concept.

Your car is nice. But there is another Alfetta GT with mesh wheels (17"?) also in red with 2 headlights out, love the look of that one.
BTW, I think the TS smoked the 3.0 on the straight away (after the start)..... so I was really surprised!
I sure hope the 3.0 is all fixed!

This one had wire-mech wheels last year.
Now it has ex-ETCC works wheels.
I hear the plans for the 3.0 in that 75 are that it's going to be more then just "all fixed"
Another pic of the coolest car ever...
A bit "worked over" in the nose but I got some straight panels s it will be fixed some time in the future.
