Contact these guys Alfa Romeo Parts - Alfa Ricambi - AR Ricambi they used to list torsion bars in 25.4 and 27.3 mm size for Milano.

email autosysg@earthlink.net

I think stock size is 22.8 mm and L/H is 96303352 and R/H is 96303077

It seems moisture trapped inside the rubber cover was the killer that snapped my left torsion bar. Pic#1: Before towing, without bumper; Pic#2: Road-Ready again, with new wipers and summer tires back on.

Graham I PMed you twice about a price for the bars, anyway I went with Zamani's. Thanks all for helping my car off the ground.
