Potenziato - you have PM.
bfrymire - I e-mailed Jess (since he doesn't frequent this board) to get him to come down, too. It'll be fun to have all those Milanos in the parking lot!

Great. It will be nice to see Jess again. I didn't realize he wasn't reading this forum.
I will be bringing my 164. (I do miss my Milano!)

I would love to join but I live in Santa Cruz and I already am racing on that side of the hill on the 22nd. I just can't break myself to drive the hill on both days off Let me know when the next one is and I'll try to make it.

Sure will, and I expect it will move around a little so everyone doesn't need to travel as far each time. maybe Fremont next time. We'll take a vote from who shows up. You know what that means....

We shall ride again soon my friend! My car is finally starting to come out of it's shell now that it has a new motor. Still need to get the paint done though. Don't forget to send me the contact info for your paint guy.
Though I won't have my Verde** on Sunday, come on out to Mission College on Sunday if you want to see some insane fast R/C race cars. We race 1/8 scale onroad and they hit speeds over 70MPH on the 220' straight and handle like a slot car going 0-60 in 2 seconds flat!! If any other AlfaBB guys want to come check it out who don't know me, come on out and I'll introduce myself. You don't have to find me... I can spot any Alfa from a mile away
**Part of my deal with myself to get my Alfa back into good looks had to start somewhere. The first thing was I had to stop using it like a truck so to speak. A friend of mine and I bought an older Toyota Corolla Wagon to go to the races. Laugh all you want but it gets great mileage and you would choke if I told you how much we paid for it.

Hey,
The breakfast turnout was good! We had over 10 cars, and about 14 people who showed. Here's some more details and pictures.

(The pictures are 3 megapixel! Yikes!)
If all had fun, I will plan another event next month.

Thanks to Brett for putting this together. We all had a great time. Lots of story swapping and some bench racing.
Here is the only nice pic we got from our camera. I hope Grant and/or 75Evo can post up pics of the group in the restaurant.
It was nice meeting y'all. We should do this again in about a month or so. Fraz, Todd, jontg428 and Ted, do you think you could make it then?
(Ted, you can bring the ABS stuff in a box; I'll buy you your Swedish pancakes!

Minimized-for-web pics from bfrymire's collection
Here we are checking out 75EVO's freshly built hotrod 3.0V6 motor. EFI by Autronic. He only has a little over 500 miles on the new engine, and intends to put it on the dyno to fine tune the maps.

Nizam glances at Potenziato's brandy-new E46 M3 and realizes the horsepower and technology gap is so large that he is just going to have to buy an Audi S4 (B6 generation, with the V8) in order to reduce the deficit

Only two 164's showed up. I guess I could have brought mine, but I could only drive one car at a time and Potenziato's RSRacing-equipped Verde was much more interesting.

Potenziato's red Verde (he has a thing for red cars). Freshly built motor, felt stronger than my wife's stock Verde. The RSRacing coilovers in the car transformed it completely. I'm going to ask Grant to write up his impression during our short run around a nearby industrial area.

Photo of the group that showed up. Most were dubious characters, but all seemed to like Alfas so we got along . Can't wait to do this again.
