I forget the width we cut off the spacer, but a little bit of trig works pretty well.
Be SURE though, that you have no purposes of racing or driving your Milano/GTV6 hard. I made the mistake of cutting my spacer before I realized I wanted camber for the track. I had to take apart my suspension again to add a stock sized spacer, and then add washers.
Actually, the best bet would be to remove the spacer, and just use washers. Then drive the car over and have it aligned. The shops use alignment shims to get the camber spot on. Just a bit of camber and the tire wear goes through the roof - it might be worth the money to have it done professionally.
