Porterfield and pad wear sensor

Hi gang,
Just finished repacking the front wheel bearinings and installing Porterfield race pads. I disconnected the brake pad wear sensor from the brake at the wire junction because I couldn't pull the sensor out of the pad. I really don't need the sensor but the blinking ARC brake light is driving me crazy! Does anyone know of a trick of how I can fool the system to think the sensor is fine? Any ideas?

thanks a lot

The "sensor" in the pads is a piece of wire, just short the connectors together.
