I was thinking the same thing, but when you look carefully at the photo of the interior and rear seats, you can see the crazing in the clear coat in that quarter panel near the roof.

It does look like a great example though, wheels were a steal at $200 brand new!

Nice Milano. I had an 87 gold in the exact same color but with the suede/leather seats. Mine was never that clean looking though

Three owners and the interior still looks very nice indeed (esp. da seats)!

The door weather seals for the Milano are getting very hard to find. They may be NLA. You might try here: PUSH-ON TRIM WEATHERSTRIPS FOR DOORS, TRUNKS, WINDOWS - JCWhitney Auto Parts

As for the inner door panels and rear view mirrors, try APE.

Flygirl, I wouldn't waste my money on an aluminum radiator ($500+). Just get yours cleaned or replaced. Flush the whole system once a year (I do mine in late fall), and make sure the fan comes on when it's supposed to. Maybe add some water wetter Red Line Oil: Coolants and Others after the flush with a 60/40 (water/coolant) mixture. Also, run 20w-50 Castrol GTX motor oil. See how that does.

Good luck and enjoy!

Got to have my morning dose of howard in the morning, followed by many hours of listening to First Wave and The Big 80's! Nothing better then driving an alfa with some good tunes!

I guess I need to either inspect the pics more closely or have higher standards. It could be that it looks more weathered in person. I know digital pics sometimes have a tendency to make paint look better then it really is. FlyGirl, your description of it as a "Monet" is exactly how I think of the pic phenomenon.

The wheels really were a steal for $200. It's easy to spend $200/wheel! 15x7 and 30mm ET are good numbers to have, but I was really looking for the bolt pattern. I'm guessing they're 5x100 (vs. the 5x98 pattern the Alfas use) and you're just using them "as-is"?

I've found Fondmetals listed with 5x98 in 15x7" online.

No kidding? Cool! I'd be impressed if Discount Tire had a set of 5x98s in stock....heck, I'd even be impressed if they were willing to order some for me. So far most wheel makers and resellers I've spoken with have been less than interested in dealing with Alfa bold patterns.

Try Team Dynamics. They are not cheap though. It will be $150 a piece at least.
