alfa 75TS 2.0 clutch

heya guys just wanted to know because i have to change my clutch very soon im leaning towards getting a heavy duty clutch will that help with faster take offs? and and faster changing between gears? because its abit slow for the power to kick in, lagging some what or is there no difference between an ordinary clutch?
