I'm in the process of buying a 95 164 LS with 140K, but otherwise in very good shape. It would give me some reassurance to know I had another much lower mileage engine sitting in the shop for the inevitable day of reckoning. I'm in Seattle, but at least we're both on the left coast! I don't have a clue what the value should be, but is $1,000.00 in the ball park?

i think for a 24v v6 engine with such low mileage, a 1000 bucks is a little low.

$1000 is too low for a 24v engine with this mileage. I will sell the whole car for $3200.

If the engine is known to be good, at least $3000 would be reasonable. Anyone interested should email APEdirect and its gonna cost more than that.

why should we call APE if Chelo owns it?? Chelo sold me his seats before and I think Chelo is not part of APE.

Keep in mind that APE would probably provide some form of warranty.

With that Mileage APE usually charges about $4500+.

I sold one with 100K on it for about $2800.00 With everything.

So somewhere in between there is a good price.
