...and just in the event that there are any further doubts - see the attached pics...
The way one can distinguish quickly between the two flywheels in my last pics (in a view from the opposite side of the stamped numbers), is to look at the crank-bolts - I left them in on the known 2.5 flywheel and left them out on the suspected 3.0 flywheel...
In conclusion; to assume that because a particular flywheel has the raised crank-plane, that it has the same casting cut-out balance-factor groove, would be a HUGE mistake! Clearly, here are two flywheels - BOTH with the 13mm raised spacers, but decidedly DIFFERENT balancing cut-outs!
In fact, I am pretty sure that the 2.5 flywheel in my pics came off of an '87 Milano Silver, further dismissing mis-information about later flywheels being the only ones with the raised crank-plane surfaces!!!
Just about the only aspect that we can make an assumption on, is that the numbers E 195 46 02 400 are from a 3.0 Milano Verde 12 valve motor's flywheel.
