Slow window

I need to look into the drivers window. It's always been slow but has gotten worse in the past few months. What are the normal causes I'm looking for?

1. Electrical: poor ground and/or power
2. Mechnical resistance: Lube the regulator

Silicon spray on the window guides helps heaps (take the door trim off to do the lower halves)

I lubed EVERYTHING I could see move. I guess in the center anodized tube there is a worm drive? The open side faces outside so I'm not sure what's in it.After getting lube in that though, the window regained it's speed. Thanks.

Any form of silicon spray in a can is usually pretty good. You can find them in any good electronics stores or automotive stores (maybe even hardware stores, never looked).

Just avoid getting it on the actually window.

You will probably also have to disassemble the regulator gearbox and remove the dried up old grease and re-grease paying particular attention to the bushes the shaft runs in.

I had the same slow problem.
Removed the mechanism, and "washed" out the tube the cabel travels thru with PB blaster. Then shot some lubricant back into the tube.
Works like a champ for over a year now.
