350 at the flywheel is a massive amount of power, especially in a Stratos type car.

While 12.5:1 is the ideal afr for horsepower, it's rarely the ideal ratio for knock-limited power. It's quite possible the tuner really did know what he was doing and used the richer mixture at high rpm for a good reason.

The Supra's don't use different size turbo's. The sequential turbo arangement works by diverting exhaust gas from all 6 cylinders through 1 of the turbo's and at a given rev/load point the exhaust gas is allowed to flow through both turbo's. This gives the effect of having lots of exhaust gas to spin up 1 small turbo quickly and from very low engine speeds and then when the second turbo is fead exhaust gas, it reduces back pressure on the engine (more exhaust flow), and provides another compressor to pump air into the engine.
