Some Clutch Bleeding Questions

I had to bleed my clutch last year and all went smoothly, but now I need to do it again and I'm forgetting things...

- Will pressure return to the pedal while the bleed screw/valve is open?
- Should I open the bleed screw/valve and then pump the pedal, or pump the pedal and then open the bleed screw/valve?
