Re the LSD in an alfetta, as it is only a 25% lock up (or 50% if tweaked with extra clutch plates) the inside wheel can still spin quite noticibly. A bit less roll stiffness at the back (or more at the front) will help put less emphasis on the diff for traction.
My GTV6 has way too little roll stiffness and despite having an LSD will lay big long black lines on the way out of second and third gear corners without a lot of provocation due to too much body roll (on the race track obviously ).

Listen, some wheelspin in the really tight corners are acceptable as a trade off, it's better then getting it sideways as that generally brakes the car.
You have to realize that you can't always have 100% grip both accelerating and steering in every situation, if you did the car would understeer like a pig. Use the accelerator with moderation and waaaaait for the car to come out of the turn before you slam the right foot down. H3ll, even F1 has traction control...

Drop Spindle pics
Was doing these today, & took a couple of comparison pics of stock spindle behind a properly fabricated drop spindle with steering arms adjusted for bump steer & slight Ackerman increase.

omg, from what I have seen that is way to much of a relocation of the joint.
Please don't ask me for numbers as I don't have any but think millileters instead of centimeters.

That Set of Spindles is the max that I will do. They are only 1.5 inches (38mm) done for 18 inch (457mm) wheel.....
Typical drops for various wheel sizes are:
15 "- .65 inch
16" - 1.0 inch
17" up- 1.5 inch

What is the location of the joint based on? Calculations or testing? Both?

Pardon my ignorance, but bump steer is namely effected by the tie rod location, and not the LCA correct? So you are implying they are talking about both the LCA ball joint and the tie rod ball joint?

We're (at least I am) talking about the modified steering arm as seen on the above modified spindles/uprights.
I'm trying to get an answer to how he came to that position of the joint, at the moment Alfar7 is either playing dumb because he doesn't want to answer or he did it by gut feeling and haven't got a clue what really happens.

Mats,
Maybe he arrived at that position from experience? He's been a racer for quite a while and won a few races in the SCCA GT2 class. I'm assuming he must have had the opportunity to try a few steering arm position.
