High Flow Injectors
Does anyone have know of a source for bigger injectors for a 2.5 with L-jet (if it makes a difference. Or know of any car having them compatible. The reason is I am 90% done with my addition of a single garrett gt28 turbo, which will be running at 11psi peak, and I know for a fact that the mixture is going to lean out. Probably close to 4500rpm (a guess from reading all of my books) on up. Will post pictures when done.
I would like to run megasquirt at some point, but I figured i would work out the mechanical quirks, and then step up.
Any suggestions are good suggestions.

Well....I certainly have them. They work great with L-Jet and up to about 10 pounds of boost.

My suggestion is to share some pics Even if you are "only" 90% done. Repeat after me "share some pics, share some pics, ..." Don't you realize that there is a whole bunch of Alfa-addicts out here who need their fix
On a serious note, I switched to Greg's injectors on a previous 3.0 - worked like a charm! (I happened to make the switch from low impedance to high impedance for unrelated reasons.)

While we are still on the subject, do you think there is a need for a larger fuel pressure regulator? On my previous cars such as my vw corrado I put in a 3.5 bar fps, granted the car was running 18psi, but made a huge difference with the addition of the injectors. I don't even know what the factory alfa one is rated at.

You could put in an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to allow you to experiment with it - that may be what you had in mind.

The stock GTV6 pressure regulator is set for 36.5 psi. I have not had a need for more pressure.

normaly if you change the PSI the spray pattern will be wrong. too low and the fuel pools on the injector side. to much and it sprays past the valve and pools on the far side.. just right and it will be even.
but then fuel shot past the valve is still better then runing lean but the MPG will suffer.

Why is gas shot past the valve or not important?

there is more then one.
but I will try to cover some here.
For starters the valve is hot. and will help turn the gas to vapor.
even if it is still a ring of liquid on the valve seat it will get sucked in.
now on to port wetting some of this happens anyways. This is why we need enrichment after a fuel cut and on acceleration. the port get wet like sprayiing glasscleaner on a window. it just sets there and is hard to suck off so only part will get sucked off. so we have to add enrichment to make up for the gas stuck to the wall. now as the flow changes how much will stick will change. and on a fuel cut it will dry out. all this makes tuning harder and hurts the MPG.
the short story is you want it all on the hot valve.

Oh that's just plain mean!! Definitely snap some more pictures when you can!
Should spray that FMIC black for a nice sleeper appeal, radiator anyone?
What has it cost you so far? Running stock internals or no? Great work though!
