The evo front bumper seems lower than the veloce, Veloce is like a cut from de EVO.
A Photoshop explaining this a little:
Left evo, right veloce.

They were fairly cheap, but not the best looking option, plus 15" tires will be
needed.
Also that giant rear wing, off of the factory racers, is that part of the Evo kit?
Cheers.

They are Revolution RFX wheels, heavy, soft and badly shaped. Useless casted alloy. I have a set.
The rear wing is NOT part of the Evo kit, the Evo had the same rear wing as the late model 75s TS series 2, 3.0 and Turbo America.

Better not consider'em
Yeah I think I'll steer clear of them.
Cheers BigSwede.
Also, what was the reason for the UNBELIEVABLY similar Veloce and Evo kits. Why two? Anyone?

I'm guessing here but I'd say the UK importer wanted to make the cars look cool to sell them and added the Evo front and rear but since the UK roads are useless they needed more ground clearence and therefore they did a hackjob and fitted them instead.

The Evo kit was only ever found on the special edition Turbo Evoluzione model, a limited edition run of 500 cars to meet Group A requirements. It had the 1.8L Turbo engine, only ever came in red, featured the body changes of the Evo kit, red wheels, '75 Turbo Evoluzione' decals down the side and a host of suspension and engine changes. Whilst the engine didn't really put out more than the standard 1.8L, it's a better base for more power.
The Veloce was based on the Evo and only ever available as a special edition model in the UK. Changes made it more user friendly as a daily driver, rather than a dedicated race car. Hence the reason it is similar.

most 75's that style outside of the u.k have a replica evo kit, not a veloce.
The veloce kit was fitted by Alfa GB.
The evo was never officially imported to the uk.

Evo was LHD only, correct me if I'm wrong alfaspence but the "Veloce" kit was almost standard trim on TS and 3.0?
BTW. The Evo only have 0.5mm less bore and another filterbox, other then that it's the same useless engine as the regular 75T, not a very good base for power unless you re-do everything...
Not very much changed at all, some beefier front bearings and a rumoured altered de-dion, to be honest I have never bothered to have a look under my buddies 75 Evo I share a garage with.

well have a look and tell it like it is!
although rumour has it that the Evo had more power than the 1.8 turbo (apparently 230hp)

Stop circulating that rumour because it's false, it has the same output as the regular 1.8 T.

Actually I've noticed that Alfa's special editions are usually not special at all. 75 EVO, 155 Silverstone, GTV6 Balocco, etc etc. List goes on. At least if you see a Type-R on a Honda you know it means something.
BTW, I think early Veloce kits didn't have the big front fender add on. Later ones seem to have the EVO style fender add on.

Anyone got a side-on shot of the Evo vs Veloce rear bumper? I think they are pretty damn close but I think that there is a different for sure!
