My Evo kit has a lower splitter that can be removed for the street if you are running the machine low. I am guessing that this kit is the same.

So much talking has been done with the Milano body kits, it will be very nice to see someone actually do the walking.

First to 81gtv6 I am representing Lester. As I stated it is a 2-3 week production time and figure 2-3 week shipping time to get here from Europe, Then shipping time from NJ to whatever city in the USA. I did not start this thread to get feelers out. This is a REAL offer to whom ever is interested. I am getting a kit for my GTV6 project. I have received another order for another kit. The only reason it would be good to get as many people as possible is to try to save on shipping. Now if you mean people say yea I am interested and i want one and the money never comes to actually buy that I do not know.
To DonBeeson. I am getting the mesurments for the front spoiler.
Alfaaverde88 . See above for the shipping times. I posted the cost of the pieces and shipping should be around 35%

That is all I was saying. I just wanted to know more about the costs before I decide. Obviously, if 20 people decide they want to order it will affect the price. I was only expressing my interest.

Costs

IF we get 2 or 20 the costs might vary 5-10 $ not more than that. the cost of the items are the same.

Hey Sebastian - just be very careful here...

I have two of those kits in Seattle with me right now that Group 2 sold to Jes and I (purchased from Brad at Alfa Riccambi recently) and the fit is less than perfect (mounting also requires additional effort and custom brackets!) People should know that fitting them is NOT simply a Saturday-afternoon driveway exercise.

Now, some guy buys it from you and comes back to the dealer (your employer) and starts to complain about little things - you get where I am going with this... Be sure about what it is that you are committing your job to (in addition to your reputation within the Alfa-community.) Potential problems are not limited to simply the product and whether it fits or not - we are a fickle bunch!

Guys - I am not trying to throw cold-water on anybody's efforts here or trying to piss on any batteries - I am just stating reality. It is NICE to see another member put some of their own time in to these types of projects - there are others here who have done this plenty!

I have refunded money in my dealings with Alfa guys - plenty of it! (But my job - the way that I earn my living - was never impacted by this - just my own personal pocket book.)

Just looking out for you and everyone else here bud.

The kits work, they look great once a body-guy has massaged them a bit, but still these are Alfa-people - perfectionists (and then there is the occasional guy who is an "expert" - right?)

Correct

JJ you are correct. With alot of body kits it has to be expected that there is a certain level of massaging that needs to be done. Especially with kits from Europe that get fit onto American cars. Just like putting a SA engine its not just drop in, it needs to have certain modifications, brackets for example to make it work. I am selling these kits from Lester for these cars. Now these need to be installed and painted . If a body person ( expert) does the install and painting than they should have the experience in doing the needed modifications are. All body kits need tweaking, here is what Cchan wrote about the Zender Kit
Quote:
Were the body kit was screwed into the panels we filled the whole chanel with filler and sanded it smooth instead of putting the door strip that most Zender Kits have. We also took a lot of time making sure that the rear bumper lined up perfectly with no gaps. Needed to build up the fiberglass edges and then sand down as needed.
Now some kits might need more tweaking than others. I am getting my dealership involved as far as payment and guaranteed delivery. Because people do not know me from a whole in the wall. John I appreciate the heads up for both me and fellow BB members. But These pieces are being sold as parts for the cars I am listing. If brackets, tweaking, fiberglass for perfection , as Cchan did, is up to the buyer. I am selling these and guaranteeing them for the car that they are made for and not damaged. That why there will be shipping insurance. John you are right we can sometimes try to help people and end up getting screwed but I am as you do trying our best.

That brings up a good point that may be a tad bit off of the subject. I went down to Centerline and forgot what I had gone down there for and while I was chatting with Joe I was looking at some of the front bumper skirts they had and noticed that there are two different mounting designs. I had no idea that Alfa had done this with these cars. One design has the skirt attaching to the car via a hole in the fender while the other mounts to a mounting arm on the fender. I wish I took pictures. I was wondering if the skirts from both types of mounting were interchangeable and if either type would be easier to use with these kits.

Fitting

These kits fit regular 75 and Milano cars. May need an additional brackit. Otherwise they are fine

Just a point, we got a lester Evo front bumper in and the quality was terrible, it was full of body filler that had been put into voids in the laminate and also have to cut the brackets off to line them up properly..otherwise they were fine!
Nothing terminal I know but it wasnt just a streight forward job.

lester front spoiler

beside that the quality is terrible, the evo is not very suitable for hardcore racing, too heavy, too much openings in the front, not wide enough....but for street use ok.
