Exclamation ? on Radio install

I have a 87 Milano Verde and would like to replace the alpine cd radio currently installed in my car but the PO did not provide a key to remove the old radio so I need to access it by removing the cover that houses the radio and temp controls. I found the two screw on each side of the housing and I have loosened the center console but still cannot budge the radio housing.

Can someone please give me a step by step regarding the removal of the radio housing? Thank you in advance

My old tape deck needed a key which i was not provided with. I reached from the passenger footwell, gave the back of the unit a good push and it popped out.
Poor install? maybe. But it worked, give it a try!

Ok, here is what ended up happening. (First of all this is Sergio's son speaking, being that this is my car i thought i should have some input ). The reason we couldn't get the console containing the stereo out was because behind it there is actually a bar connected to the car and a hook on the panel that holds the panel onto the bar. If you give the panel a good shove backward it should jar free and then you can remove the console and disconnect all of the wires. As for the stereo itself the anti theft device was what was keeping it in, which being the crafty people that we are, didn't do much to stop us from getting the stereo system out. All you have to worry about are the four small screws, which can been seen from the back side, that hold the plate in. Other than that it's easy!
