What I see is the front of the car torque steering to the left (maybe the rear is pushing a bit too) and snapping back when the guy changes gear...
The way it takes off and puts its power to the road can only be 4WD IMHO. It doesn't sound like a V6 either. So a souped-up 155 Q4 is probably what this thing is.

That other clip showed a black 155 Q4 and what looks to be a stockish E46 330i (?). The time showed 8.XX for the Alfa and 11.XX for the BMW. A little hard to believe.
An R33 GTR in Aus. did 8.2+ with Veilside mods. Rigoli's fast WRX did 8.8-9.1. So I'm highly doubtful a modified Q4 can touch 8+ in the quarter mile. Very serious power is needed to break 11s. Maybe if it had 500 bhp at the very least.

A fair point you make, and on second thought 7-8 is f*cking fast! I was just going by what video's i have seen, maybe these were not raced over a 1/4 mile, i just assumed as this is the general drag length, no? Any way the integrale donc can give some serious grunt which im sure your all aware.
Some videos for you to watch, i think the black one it the quicker one but don't have time to watch them as my intranet is chugging atm.
Fast nonetheless.

re: the rear hop/skip
This is certainly a 155 (Dear Santa...) The other thing to consider is what is the drive percentage front to rear? Most road-going 4wd cars have a limited amount of drive to the front wheels.
FWIW, my next door neighbor used to race his late 90's Carrera4 and he said it only had 5% drive to the front wheels... pushed like a dump truck. He ended up ditching it as a track car and got a VERY trick '77 911 with a motor and exhaust that sounded like a Nextel Cup car

It would take more than 500 hp to do a seven second quarter mile for a car of that weight. Probably closer to 1000/1500 hp.

Watching these videos carefully it looks to me that those races are over 1/8 mile. The black 155 appears to be quite a bit slower than the red one in the original Youtube clip that started this thread. However you look at it that red car is very quick. You can see the power and speed. The distance looks like 1/4 mile but we don't know what times he is running. He might be doing 13s or something like that. I reckon the black car looks as if it would do 15 - 16s over 1/4 mile, which would be about right looking at the cars he is up against. We need someone who knows these cars to settle it for us.

You don't count the last RWD spider as an Alfa?
