Crank Pulley

I have an 1987 Milano Engine. It has v-belt pulleys. I would like to upgrade the fuel injection and use a 60-2 trigger wheel. Rather than fabricate the trigger wheel i noticed the 3.0 used that set up but has a serpentine belt instead.

Question: Was there a v-belt set up for the 2.5 V6 that had the trigger wheel I need? If so where can I get one?

All 12 valvers ran V-belts from the Six to the GTV6 to the Milano/75s....

The 12 valve 164 cars went to a serpentine/v-belt combination setup with the 60-2 trigger-wheel and CAS and the 24 valvers were all 60-2 serpentine & CAS...

The first production V6 cars that used the trigger wheel were the 164, the Alfa SZ and the 75 3.0V6 LE (1992). All were 3.0V6 engines.

The first Alfa 155V6's produced in 1993 had the first 2.5V6 (12-valve) that used the trigger wheel, and was replaced with the Alfa 156 2.5 that had the 24-valve 2.5V6. The latter employed COP (coil-on-plug) for ignition.

As for replacing the v-belt drive with the serpentine drive, you could simply take a 164 3.0V6 front pulley and have a crank balance shop re-counterweight it to your 2.5V6's flywheel.
