Ah, there's the rub in the Alfa world. There is mega research and knowledge necessary to develop and tune a turbo system for any particular engine. Without proper tuning you'll blow the engine in a heartbeat. Who's going to invest in all the tooling and research to develop a good turbo kit if they can only sell 10 or 20?

I mean, we know that we're all a bunch a cheap bastards! You make one of these kits and try to sell it for cost plus 10% and there'll be a hundred posts on the Alfa Digest about how you're price gouging.

Sure is fun to think about though!

And on that note ... this thread, too, shall fade into the dusty bits of an old hard disk on the alfabb server ...

Until the next time someone asks if they can build a better [[insert expensive technology here]] for less than a month working at minimum wage ... tax free .

Hell No!

You Americans give up too easy.

Click me for Novitec

Supercharger kits and Turbo kits...

How about a biturbokit for the 3.0? Costs 9700 Euro though... But they assume you turn up with a 2.5 so the 3.0 conversion might be included.
How does 308 Hp DIN sound?

That's a nice system. The piping is worth a lot as they are nicely done. But I don't like the microfueler. It's ancient.

I'm not sure what type of response you will get on the Alfa Digest. Maybe along the lines of "why mess with a prefectly good system (jetronic) " or "why do you need so much power"

agree... if i got money, i'll go for supercharger too.
