Milano no start, sometimes...

Houston we have a problem. '87 Milano occasionally refuses to start. When it does start it runs flawlessly. Checked fuel pump operation and fuel pressure at the fuel rail and it checked out fine. Rigged a noid light in line with one of the injectors and slipped it under the wiper so can be watched while driving. Whenever the car refuses to start the light doesn't flash - no injector pulse! If the light flashes when cranking the car fires right up. Any thoughts on what could cause an intermitten loss of injector pulse. The battery is charged and healthy so I don't think its a low voltage issue. Awaiting your thoughts guys. Cheers, Ken

check the ECU connections.....

It control the injectors i believe. The connections can be loose or rusted, which is common.Worst scenario would be a bad going ECU.........My .02 cents........Good luck,Albert
