Is the 75 a good daily driver?

I am in Circle Pines,MN. and winter driving isn't much fun. Rust from the salt is indeed an issue.

Alfie does like summer better.

I will admit though that my Milano was a blast to drive in the winter. I used dedicated winter snow tires and it was fun whipping around. One really noticed the neutral handling of the the car.

From left field - what about an Alfa 90? I mean the analogue dash, manual version. Classic Alfetta body, joyous transaxle chassis, criminally undervalued and ripe for a suspension upgrade. More creature comforts inside. If I had the money back from my V6 75, I'd look long and hard at a 90 - they've often been looked after well, I've never seen a rusty one.

Anyone that calls themselves an Alfista should own a 75 at least once!

My first was a low km 2.5 75 that i bought in Lismore, she was cherry, wish i didnt sell her.

Then later on i had a 3L that was fairly quick, great torque but was starting to consume too much oil so i sold it and built up the Alfetta sedan instead.

Never had a TS but i came close to buying one, great balance and easy on petrol but still make all the right noises.

Buy one, its not like you will loose anything in terms of resale value

The 75 is a great car. I drive one every day. There better built than a GTV6 in many ways ,they only fall down in the looks department when compared to a gtv6, as far as reliabiliy ,they are pretty reliable, electricals are much better than a GTV6 less rust too,the door rubbers actualy keep the rain out unlike any gtv.75s are underated and are a great substitute for the getting more expensive to buy gtv6 . As with most alfas they are as reliable as there owners are willing to look after them.
