Nasty Structural Discovery!
Made a rather troubling discovery on a couple of Milanos (that have never even been on a track before!)
Grab some brake-clean, pull the front-wheels - take a closer look at the frame - right where the two large bolts holding the lower control-arms in place pass through the sub-frame. Surely ours could not be the only two...?
I'll post some pics later today.

"Just some cracks" Yeah right, I'll remind you when the lower A-arm pulls off the rail at WOT through Turn 8 at WSR I know, exactly where it will happen: The Milano pulling strong through Turn 8, closing in on red-line in 4th, and the little uneveness in the pavement at the inner part making the car skid outwards just a bit as it unsettles a tad...

I have seen this before, usually on cars running really big torsion bars.

Yeah my car's got this too, and my spare car didn't have ANY crush tubes where the bolts go through. So the steel was all pulled in, and there were heaps of deformed shims in there to correct the camber.

No-no - nothing to do with torsion bars - these are both stock cars running stock torsion bars and stock anti-roll bars all of their lives...!
Must be a known weakness on these cars!

Yes, thanks for the heads up JJ, every Milano owner should add this inspection to their list.

Looking at it further, it doesn't seem all that alarming; what I mean to say is that there are many other points holding the body to the frame, but it does seem to highlight a particular area where their seems to be a high level of stress.
No biggy - welder - yeah, but it is probably just going to do it again - right next to it or something. It will be hard to monitor as these two cars now have full roll-cages in them and those will probably do more to help the situation than anything...
