The Clock on the ARC
Well here in beautiful 7 degree weather I had to run the car today and was trying to keep track of how long it should be running. There is a timer mode on that clock, right? How do I use it?

Unfortunately, no it's just a simple digital clock. The 2 buttons on the clock are to set minutes and seconds.
A lap timer would be nice.

Hum...
I used to have a 1987 Milano Gold, and i am fairly certain that it had a timer mode...
Memory may be failing, as i sold the car about 3-4 years ago..
(And that is why I am looking for a 164. )

Is this the clock you guys have? It is the one supplied in my '89, and the 2 '87s I've parted out. None of them had a timer mode.

It's been too long, and I have owned enough cars since to get them confused...
But, I remember using it in timer mode to clock a trip I used to make weekly....
Hum. I need to ask Jess (The person I bought it from) or Steve, who I sold it to.
Like I said, my memory might be fading....

I have one of each type Alfa Romeo control panels (ARC). One has clock like Joe shows in his diagram and the other one has three (3) buttons instead of normal two shown. One for timer is labeled Rally. that is one I have installed in my Milano Gold.

ARC rally clock version
On R/H side of clock there are 3 buttons. To make timer work press top M button for mode until you get 00:00 showing. Then push bottom one I think to get timer to start.

Yeh my 75 comes with the timer, trip computer, mileage calculator, fuel estimation etc - it's really useful for getting a decent idea of just how many KMs I can get out of a tank, and when I really need to fill up!

Mine too! Except since removing L-jet the fuel usage calc just says 40L/100km constantly.

Hehe - just like my temperature readout always reads -41.5 (or -41.5) degrees celcius. Actually does anyone know where the probe for that readout is hidden? I've had a skim of the wiring diagram and couldn't really see anything.
Actually I have had far fetched thoughts of getting into the guts of the ARC and changing sensors so you have warnings for things you need (ie. water/meth system failure if it was fitted ). But knowing that ARC, I'd probably end up having everything come on everytime I tried to use an indicator or step on the brake
