V6 Intake Runners

i sold my 2.5 Milano project as I was planning on a move and then I received word that the plans have fallen through and that is when I found the red Verde for sale on this site so I gobbled it up as soon as I could. Anyway, I was cleaning out the garage and found a set of intake runners and right at that time I saw the glint of the light of inspiration gleaming off of my rotary grinder and I had a flood of ideas. I remember a long time ago I saw a website about a guy who fabricated his own set and i have heard about people porting their own. I have also heard of 45mm and 50mm runners available for purchase and the price tags are outrageous so the purpose of this post is to ask for imput and ideas from anyone that has fabricated their own, had them ported, ported their own, etc. and any information about process and results. thanks to anyone who chooses to chime in.
