Shock value??

It seems that the only shocks available in the US for Milanos are the Koni and Bllstein. Are these vastly superior to those available in Europe and Asia like KYB, Sachs, Monroe and others that all sell for half the price of Bilsteins. I don't ever intend to race my Milano..wouldn't the other unavailable brands be okay? I understand there may be a problem shipping gas shocks by air freight. I think the airplanes are presurrized so I would think it an issue. Any comments?

Got a set of almost new Bilsteins that have serve 2 events on a Milano and 3 events on a GTV6 - thought you might be interested as about 1/2 of new price + shipping will take them.

Also shox.com seems to have great prices. They also shipped my bilsteins air freight to canada..which i guess is a big no-no. (dont tell anyone!)

that price for a set of four is quite reasonable, i think about last year this time i paid even less.

Are Bilsteins and Konis better than stock? Depends on what you want .

My wife's Verde is a street car and after various iterations of springs and shocks, we're back to NOS (New Old Stock) shocks. They're not great, but they soak up more of our area's poor roads the best. I don't like the stock shocks' feel at high speeds, though. Too floaty.

Jes' deal above may be the best around. You should get 'em.

I don't intend to race. just want a comfortable Alfa ride without the harshness. I found some great prices in Europe on Monroes and Sachs..if I can get someone to ship them to the states I may order a few extra sets to reduce the shipping cost per unit.

How about the RSRacing shocks... Doesn't mean that you have to buy the whole setup...

I have seen the comparisons (physical demonstrations) and it made me replace my Konis right away...

Ronnie I have a new pair of OEM shocks for the rear

that I never installed because I got a deal on four new yellow Koni's

If you want them you can have them for $100 plus shipping (92618)

They are on the original AR box with all the hardware.

Gilles
