Buying an AR75....what should I be looking at?

Hello,

my wife has decided to buy me an AR 75 for this Valentine after all of my whining! I already have a 164 which I am restoring so I need another car I can drive! I saw this white car which I know nothing about, and I will be having a look at it next Wednesday. What should I be looking for, any weak points? It probably is not a V6 as here in Malta 1.8 an 2.0 are the most common.

Any input greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

Ryan

A search for 'things to look for' in the milano/75 section would help you a lot.
I've never seen a 1.8 or 2.0 in a 75 in real life, but i'll say a few things that should be across all of them.
Check the rear wheel arches for rust, this is the first spot to rust. Jack points and spare trunk well are also fairly early culprits.
Second gear crunch is quite normal, so dont worry too much if the car has that.
Other than rust I'd just look for 'quick fixes,' weird sounds, and the normal stuff.

Will give a search. In the meantime thanks for the hints.
