24 valve swap; Milano Fuel Pump Flow-Rate/Pressure-Rating!

Does anybody have the Milano Fuel Pump Flow-Rate/Pressure-Rating versus say that of the GTV6 or that of the 164 24 valve...?

I am doing a 24 valve swap in to a GTV6 and I want a nice new strong fuel-pump in there, but I am curious if I even need to think bigger and if say a 164 LS 24 valve pump provides any measurable gains over that of the GTV6.

Dunno why I care; a nice fresh Milano stock pump seemed to do just fine feeding Jes' 3.7 litre 24 valve with 301 horses at the wheels... This stock 24 valve with the stock pump should be just fine, but still - I would like to know.

Also, are GTV6 and Milano units the same? Are all 3 the same...?

The GTV6 and Milano fuel pumps are the same. I think the 164 is the same but I don't want to say that because I am not 100% sure.

Centerline sells a good <$100 fuel pump. The Bosch ones are sorta $$$, rockauto.com has some good deals on the pumps as well. I think there is a Ford fuel pump that works too.

My 24V is running a 1.8 IE fuel pump, no problem, should be able to provide enough fuel for a 24V

Thanks boss! Yeah - it worked fine on the 3.7 litre - I was just wondering about the flow-rates as compared to the 164 units. What did Alfa think...

The fuel pump is rated far beyond the required 43-47psi for the stock Motronic injectors. All you have to do is to change the FPR (fuel pressure regulator). If you're planning on using your custom programmable EFI, all bets are off though

...why not just use the stock fuel rail ad FPR then...?

No reason. I merely suggested the "upgrade" since I'm guessing you'll want more fuel rail pressure for your setup, no?

As you know, my 24v (and my 12v) setup uses the stock Alfa FPR, rails and injectors because I simply plugged in the stock Alfa Motronic ECU. The stock Milano pump works just fine in this sort of application.

S4 Spider, GTV6, and Milano all use a same fuel pumps. The 164 has its pump inside the gas tank so it is not compatible with what you are doing. I have used lots of the 'cheap' Centerline Bosch replacement pump, but they are out and did not ETA when replacements would arrive.
