What do you mean by "how tight you set up the back"? Can you adjust how hard your rear brakes grab with something on these alfas??

How's your VEMS conversion going?

With if going on and off it is scary as it will be soft/hard but if it stays off or stays on I can deal. it seem to stop just as hard as my 68 Toyota Crona with the pump off.. you have to pull up on the wheel when you stand on it. My biggest worry is if the pedel will break as it was not ment for that much force. Unlike my Crona that is ment to be that hard.
As for how tight the back is, it is when you set up the e-break stops,aka pad gap. but I think the biggest change to bias is if there is any air in the system back vs the front.

but I have noticed with all the air out the back will lock up first. (also use up the back pads first) after I changed to the slotted/drilled and the race pad the centerline sells it seemd to be closer to all 4 whells locking at the same time. I can stop much much faster now.
