RS Racing Coilover + Drop Spindle Problem

Anybody out there using RS Racing coilovers with modified uprights or drop spindles?

I tried lowering the torsion bars on the Projekt 75 24V but the car dropped down really low and I'm on the bottom of the threads. I believe that the coilovers have a range they operate in and the drop spindles throw the geometry out of whack. I'll post some pics later.

Louis,
How much does the drop spindle lower the car (compared to a stock spindle) in itself? I can imagine your problem...

The spindles drop the car about an inch. They fit pretty tight with 16" wheels. I think I need longer springs in the front for the springs to be taking any load.

I don't think the RS racing kit will work properly with drop spindles. The front springs are too short. However it seems to me that that's an easily solveable problem. Any coil spring maker should be able to sell you a slightly longer spring with the same overall specs.

yeah, Call Eibach in Corona, CA. They'll make any spring if they don't already and it isn't terribly expensive.
