Zamani, this shouldn't apply to our units.

It applies if they are bought as a "kit" with the lower pricetag.

Finished pulling obsolete wires out of the dash - tedious since I wanted to maintain select ARC functionality (oil level monitoring, coolant level monitoring, brake fluid pressure monitoring). I just need to remount the ECO, the fuse panel, and the electronic module for the ARC.
I also started making the new instrument cluster housing that will hold the Race-Technology Dash2. Once complete I will cover it in black felt.

Urgh. Have fun with that.
Take my advice though and make sure you triple check the purpose of a wire before removing it. I learnt the hard way that not only are there two sets of wiring diagrams, they're also not 100% accurate. Make sure you test absolutely everything before bundling it back up (another terrible job) to make sure it all still works.
Apart from that, looking good

No need to worry - have done similar things before - don't use wiring diagrams doing this kind of stuff just need EE common sense Besides, all tested and checked - wires ready to be tugged up

Let us know which wire from the dash you're gonna hookup to the DL1 for the RPM input

Cool, I saw the table from race-technology on what would and wouldn't work. I would prefer to just get it off one of the wires in the dash that goes to the tacho as I want to avoid running more wires into the car. I'll double check the wiring diagrams again.

If I recall correctly, the white wire in the 7 or 8 pin connector at the back of the instrument cluster is for the stock tach.

Finished the new instrument cluster that will hold the DASH2 and the 4 buttons to control it (mounts just like the stock instrument cluster). Oddly the sheet for the DASH2 says the 3 mounting holes are M4, but I don't see how M4 will fit those holes - don't want to force it - they should spin in by hand.

Looks nice Jes. Did you line the metal/aluminum with felt cloth?
How much for the buttons? Probably very expensive, but I hope it's not going to be as useless as the remote switch they sold us for the DL-1.
It seems that I can also use my own switches, but the plug which goes from the switches to the rear of the Dash2, is it included? I assume if it were included, would be a plug with loose wires/flying leads right?
