I know Ron also recommends reinforcement, maybe not to the extend I went, but I figured since I'm at it, why not go all the way...? I was also going to reinforce the shock attachment points on the Dedion, but I will wait until I implement the change in that department justifying/requiring it.

If it materializes, I will. First I want to drive the car with the recent changes which are extensive: From zero camber front and rear to -4 degree front and rear, increased track front (approximately 15 mm per side) and rear (25 mm per side), stiffer adjustable rear sway-bar, ...
I'm also putting in a data acquisition system  The real deal... Among other things it records G-froces with accelerometer, and position, speed, etc. continously which can be analyzed afterwards with associated software. It also has numerous analog inputs (for RPM, wheel speed - may put the wheel speed sensors back on, etc.). This should help fine tune suspension, and most importantly my skills.

My sway bar adapters are of steel, and very heavy!
What have you been using for tires? Have you noticed any significant wheel bearing wear after developing the lateral loads that you've been seeing so far?
Will I get to see your car in April!?

I think the newest iteration of the mounting brackets from Ron are aluminum, at least mine are, and have provision for a simpler reinforcement than I did.
I have been running Hoosiers R-compound for many events (on either 15" or 17"), and 17" wheels at some events - no noticed wear on wheel bearings, but they are practically new (< 2 years) since I replaced practically all wear items.
Yes, will be at both March WSIR and April BW event - at least that is the current plan.

I finally got time to reassemble the rear suspension with the adjustable rear sway bar. It is quite tight, but everything fit with some minor re-adjustment of my stockish (where it passes though and over the Dedion) exhaust. The suspension is loaded in the pictures and there is about 1" clearance between the sway bar and the exhaust. I loaded up the right side only (to the point where it also lifted up the left side, and there is still some clearance. I also put on the RSR adjustable aluminum Watts linkage.

Yeah, I'm pretty curious to set how it behaves now. Any guesses on what kind of G it will pull during cornering? The data logging system measures it, so it should be interesting. Unfotunately, there are no before measurments - this will be the first time with the data logging system.
The suspension/alignment changes inlude:
- Front negative camber (used to be zero due to points consideration)
- Rear negative camber
- Front track increased by about 15 mm per side
- Rear track increased by about 25 mm per side
- 26 mm adjustable rear sway bar
There will be some experimentation with the rear sway bar. Initially, I set it in the 2nd softest position to reduce the risk of too much oversteer right out of the gate - think turn 8 and 9 at WSIR. My plan is to gradually move it to a stiffer (or softer) position until the car is neutral.

I was going to install it on the shelf above where the glovebox used to be, but I have the Motronic ECU on the underside, and I'm not sure if there is too much interference for the DL-1 in that location (the DL-1 manual suggests to keep it away from engine management components). It needs to be mounted level and in correct front-rear orientation in order for the gyrometer to measure optimally and put out correct yaw, etc. information.
BTW, I spoke with Race Technology since there was inconsistency in the wiring instruction for the remote start/stop of the logger. They looked into it and said the wiring info on the bag for the start/stop switch is correct - don't mind the info in the software help.

You should mount it dead middle of the car so you get accurate GPS readings

I think I'll mount the GPS antenna on the rear parcel shelf. The unit it self, probably close to the bottom of the passenger seat.

Bernard, the box has nothing to do with that - the antenna determines that. Though, I know you were joking.
Zamani, for most accurate position (view of as many satelites as possible) the antenna should be mounted on the roof - take a look at the "manual". The satelites lower in the sky (horizon) provides lots of info for the unit to determine position. Also, the "manual" says to minimize vibration to unit.
