maybe some kind of checkered flag design could look nice with the silver color
|
Hmm, interesting.
Speaking of that. At some point I was considering red with checkered flag wrapped over a front corner and a rear corner. I think it needs a complete respray anyway. We (Colin and I) may just do it ourselves.

at one point I was thinking of putting flames coming out from the front fenders of my GTV6 I probably am the only one liking it but I think it would really look "hot" and maybe a cheap (and reversable )way to go is with stikers
Good night now I have to go and dream about turn 8 full trottle

JJ, I want to maintain 5x98 so that I can run the GTV6 wheels.
Stefano, you can get a 12 lbs from Odyssey for $131 at www.racerpartswholesale.com (model PC545MJ) The weight is not on the website but listed in a catalog I have from them.
Cranking amps not the highest for daily use. A regular battery is 30+ lbs I would think.

Stefano -
When you go full throttle on turn 8, you have arrived
Honest. It's the best way to get through that corner. Keep you right foot buried.

Dude don't worry. I have 7.5" 30mm offset wheels AND 20mm spacers minor fender work needed though. Check on the web for a fender rolling tool which people rent out. I think 1/2" spacers would be the most practical as you won't need longer wheel studs.

Well, last time I saw your car, it was sitting about 1.5" too high That gives you plenty of space. Not the case with Roxanne!

You should be able to use 15mm spacers which bring you to a 30mm offset. This is same as Verdes with the Benzoni wheels.
I have used 215 40 17 with ET 30 on a car dropped 2.5-3 inches. The trick is to shim or grind the front bumper for clearance. I don't think the front offset 75evo is talking about will work on a very low car without wider front fenders.
Increasing the track an inch or more makes a huge difference since these cars are very narrow.

Some fender flare pics will be very interesting when you get to that stage Jes. Its a bit of a mystery to me since Ive never seen anyone do it before.
BTW, So far Ive had very good luck running the 12lb odessey last summer, with a/c. Its still going strong.

Thanks Jes I looked it up and now I really regreat having bought a regular battery from Kragen a couple of months ago. I remember asking the guy: "dont they make lighter batteries for sport cars?" Oh well, I should have asked the Alfa forum before. At list it was cheaper

So, which paint scheme do you like better for Roxanne? The white or the red?

I think I like the red one as well. You'll just look like a 4-door version of my GTV6 .
