Anybody use scales to set-up ride-height?

We just used scales on the alignment-rack to try and achieve a corner-weight balance that's as close to neutral as is possible with the current setup on my car...

Considering my 265 pound arse (not to mention that we have moved the driver's seat-rails back a couple of inches to accommodate my 6'-4" frame...) we were able to set the height higher on the driver side (neutral with a guy in the seat...) and the weight shifted as far forward as possible (Milano's are tail-happy...) With me out of the car, we're actually sitting a wee-bit higher on the left.

Setting up those torsion bars was a *****, but it’ll be worth it. ALL poly bushings- as far as was available - and OEM new bushings otherwise, EVERYWHERE. New De-Dion bushing, new watts bushings, yellow Konis (we'll see) red IAP springs (we'll see), new sway-bar links & bushings, upper and lower control arms, valve job (87K miles) new belts, new doughnuts, new engine mounts, new brakes, shifter cut down two inches etc etc....
We'll "index" the tires to the wheels (before adding weights) and do a proper alignment.

Manana is the big day for the first drive - "nicely sorted" is the anticipated response that I will be looking for, but it may take a few shots at it though...

Can't wait!
