While I can’t chime in on the guibos in the 75/Milano, I know that my brother did end up modifying the BMW guibos to fit into his V6 Spider project.

Just to add another interesting thought on the drivetrain – in the year that he owned and drove the standard Spider (prior to him starting the project), he ended up fixing the UJ bushings in the first month to fix a slight clicking noise. Six months later, and the problem develops once again!

Suffice to say that not only has he upgraded the guibos, but also the UJ as well to something with a bit more strength.
