Congratulations !!! It is very nice. it looks in great shape.
It is so nice in black.
i am noticing few differences between the North American versions and the european versions.
The deposit for the power steering fluid is in a different possition that the one that i have. Here, all of them (except some T.D.) is between the brake fluid deposit and the windscreen fluid deposit.
The Recaro seats, as minimun here, in Spain, they came just in an "special Edition" called PODIUM, engineered with the 2 liter Twin Spark. And this kind of seats are very very difficult to find. Here we addapt the Recaro seats from Lancia Delta Integrale, Ford Escort RS Turbo etc....
I wish you to enjoy it for many years....

Pretty much, lights will randomly flash for awhile if the car hasn't been driven for a bit, but other than that it works. The damn "Brake" light on the ARC never stops flashing though!

What exactly do you mean by this? What parts should be cleaned?

Eric, I'm assuming you are a young adult yourself? Whatever you do, don't do drop clutch launches. You will probably break your driveshaft insulating donuts faster than you can say "Fast and the Furios 3: Tokyo Drift".
Have fun with your new Verde. I'm envious, my first Alfa was a bone stock 2.5 liter Gold

I'm new to driving a manual transmission car, so can anyone explain what rev-matching and double-clutching is?
Also, don't do drop clutch launches? What does that mean? lol sorry for the noob questions.
Thanks again to everyone!

Holding the engine at 3-4K rpm and "dumping" the clutch (just letting it out really fast to break the rear tires loose). You know, doing a burn out or something?
It's kind of funy, because since I wrote that warning, I've killed my drive shaft's center bearing from a few hard launches (not even dumping the clutch).

Oooooh...shiny.
Likely explanation for the brake light on the ARC could be the pad sensors. The original brake pads had sensors in them so the light would blink when the pads wore out. Replacement pads don't have the sensor, so the wires get left disconnected and the lights blink. If you jumper the connector with a short wire it will fix the problem.
Electrical grounds are anywhere wires (usually black) attach directly to the frame or the engine block. There's a collection on each side of the engine bay at the very front. There's also a bunch of very important ones that connect to the bolts holding the auxilliary air valve to the passenger side valve cover. Also where the negative battery wire connects to the block and to the frame. Disconnect your battery before dorking around with anything electrical.

LOL the video sounds like a bad fart!! I'm sure it sounds better in person. Must have been the microphone ....
Anyway congrats on the car I just got my verde as well and I have a base model in the garage. Nice looking car but can you drive the car with the radio on? I find that I cant for three reasons
1. I need to hear the revs when to change gears possibly because I'm no longer used to the car.
2. I like the engine sound and exhaust....
3. I can't change the radio in it's location I noted some are placing it in the ashtray slot.
Congrats on the car like the Italian flag what part of Italy are your parents from or yourself?
Maybe if in Woodbridge one day we should take a picture of both cars.

Yaa the mic on my digi-cam sucks!
I love driving the car with the radio on...I can still hear the engine and eventually when you drive it enough you'll be able to feel when you should shift gears, you don't always have to listen for it, it becomes second nature...plus in the city, you never really need to go past 2nd gear lol
The sound of the engine and the exhaust is beautiful, sometimes i'll turn off the radio and just listen, it's nice
You can't change the radio? That's weird, it shouldn't be too hard no?
HA Woodbridge as in Woodbridge, Ontario? In April I'm going down to Toronto to watch the Habs-Leafs game (I'm from Montreal ) ..and i"m staying at my friends house in Maple, is that anywhere near Woodbridge?
Welll my granparents on my mothers side are from Ascoli and my fathers side is Calabrese, you?

Campobasso Molise area of Italia
The radio switches fine but I hate going behind the stick shift to do so. I guess your right about getting used to it but I don't drive it everyday. I may even sell it because I don't need it and the thrill of having an Alfa is old to me. The car design is showing it's age compared to newer cars of today. Still a nice car but ....
Yes Woodbridge, Ontario I'm 15 minutes if that out of Maple down the road actually.
Thanks
