Radio/clock problem

This has me terribly confused.
I went to install a cd deck today, and i hooked it up and it worked fine at first. I even got to rock out to Iron Man.

After putting the cd deck in its resting position i started my car up and noticed my clock was putting out random lines (clock on the ARC). I disconnected my deck and the clock worked, but its now randomly working.
The deck had no power to it at that point and i have yet to get power to it.

It only does this when i connect the 'power' connector to the deck.

Also the cd deck does work in my parts car (where i pulled it from)

Any ideas on what could be messing with my clocks functioning and the power to my cd deck?

I have no idea but this is a pretty funny "Alfa problem".

Good luck .

I figured it out, the battery wire was no good so i had to make a new one. Somehow this solved my cd deck problem and the clock!

Bad grounds will do all sorts of things you don't expect. It's amazing what things can go wrong simply because a wire is slightly damaged or loose. My chasis ground was loose and causing the car immobiliser to intermittently screw up by staying on. Only happened in hot weather, but all came down to the ground. Weird..

Good to see it's sorted!
